The Business Development Manager will drive new business initiatives in the I&C energy and sustainability space, focusing on opening large deals, developing a robust sales pipeline, and fostering strategic relationships. Key Skills & Experience
  • Strong track record in new business development within energy, sustainability, PPAs, export, or related sectors
  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders, ideally at C‑suite or director level
  • Proven prospecting skills and ability to build relationships over long sales cycles
  • Existing network or relationships that can be developed over 12–18 months
  • Confidence operating in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments
Key Responsibilities
  • Own the acquisition of new business for large I&C customers with portfolios from 10 GWh to 100+ GWh
  • Build and convert a long‑term sales pipeline across various high‑energy sectors
  • Engage with senior stakeholders on sustainability and decarbonisation strategies
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams to develop flexible supply and green solutions
  • Travel regularly within the UK and occasionally to Europe for customer meetings and industry events
