An established and highly regarded insurer is looking to hire an Actuarial Analyst to join its collaborative actuarial function. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified actuary who is making good progress through the actuarial exams and is keen to gain exposure across a broad range of actuarial disciplines, including:

  • Capital Modelling
  • Reserving
  • Pricing
  • Business Planning
  • Solvency II Reporting

Working closely with senior actuaries, you'll support key business activities while also having the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects involving data science, machine learning, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support capital modelling and risk monitoring activities
  • Assist with Solvency II analysis and reporting
  • Contribute to quarterly reserving exercises and performance monitoring
  • Provide pricing and analytical support
  • Analyse market and investment data
  • Support the development and maintenance of actuarial models
  • Participate in wider actuarial and business projects

About You

  • Part-qualified actuary with progress towards professional exams
  • Previous actuarial experience within insurance
  • Strong analytical and data manipulation skills
  • Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a related discipline
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience with Python, R, Power BI, or similar tools would be advantageous
