The Role
As a Tax Consultancy Partner at Gravita, you will lead and expand our SME tax advisory services, focusing primarily on business clients. Your expertise will guide clients through the complexities of tax matters, ensuring compliance and optimising tax efficiencies. Collaborating closely with the executive team, you will drive strategic growth, cultivate strong client relationships, and mentor a high-performing team, all in alignment with Gravita’s commitment to excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Growth :
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance Gravita’s property tax service offerings and market presence.
- Lead, inspire, and manage a team of property tax specialists, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Client Relationship Management
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with business clients, serving as a trusted advisor on property tax matters.
- Oversee the delivery of comprehensive tax advisory services, ensuring high-quality standards and client satisfaction.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and standards, managing risk effectively.
- Optimise workflows and enhance service delivery processes to improve efficiency and client outcomes.
Business Development
- Identify and secure new business opportunities, contributing to the firm’s growth and long-term success.
- Represent Gravita at industry events and networking functions to bolster the firm\’s reputation and visibility.
- Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance to nurture future leaders within the firm.
- Drive recruitment and retention strategies to build a resilient and dynamic team.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience
- ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent qualification with significant post-qualification experience in tax advisory services.
- Proven experience in a senior tax role, ideally at partner level or equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge of UK property tax legislation and its application across various business sectors.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and business development.
