The Role
As a Senior Associate in Payroll within our Outsourcing team, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our dynamic payroll department. In this fast-paced position, you'll manage a diverse portfolio of clients, handling high-volume payroll processes on varying cycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the busy payroll department.
- High volume payroll process on varying cycles for your own portfolio of clients in a fast-paced role.
- Provide comprehensive advice to clients in relation to payroll queries.
- Working to deadlines.
- Manual calculations.
- Ensuring all necessary payments are made within the deadlines set, for example Pension Contributions and employee payments.
- Pensions & HMRC Submissions.
- Shares knowledge and experience with junior team members, providing training and support when required.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience
- Full end-to-end payroll experience, including manual calculations and standard deductions.
- Proficiency in UK Payroll Legislation and Auto-Enrolment for pensions.
- Strong interpersonal skills for client and internal stakeholder communication.
- Experience maintaining client relationships and liaising with HMRC and third-party providers.
- Competence in Excel.
- Minimum 3-4 years of payroll bureau experience.
