You’ll work closely with the Chief People Officer and Chief Transformation Officer, producing senior-quality outputs and influencing decisions that shape how Gravita operates and grows.
This role requires someone who can move between strategic thinking and hands‑on delivery – comfortable in multi-disciplinary stakeholder conversation one moment and deep in an integration plan the next.
Key Responsibilities
- M&A Integration
- Supporting people-side due diligence for new acquisitions, working closely with Finance, senior Gravita leadership and key stakeholders from the incoming firm on areas including workforce analysis, employment liability review and TUPE applicability.
- Working with the incoming firms key stakeholders to lead the integration of newly acquired teams into Gravita – contract alignment, policy harmonisation and HRIS onboarding.
- Managing trainee alignment and integration as part of each deal.
- Managing benefits communication and the practicalities of welcoming new colleagues into the firm.
- Working closely with People, Finance and the business to ensure integrations are joined up and run smoothly.

- Leading the transformation of Gravita’s workplace function across a portfolio of offices including London, Essex, Oxford, Bristol and Exeter.
- Working as part of M&A property workstreams to integrate newly acquired offices into the Gravita workplace operating model
- Steering Places-based culture and employee engagement initiatives including socials, charities and environment branding
- Reviewing and improving processes to drive consistency and efficiency across the estate.
- Managing supplier relationships and service standards, with a focus on getting the operating model right.
- Exploring the use of technology and AI to improve how we manage and report on our workplaces.
- People Projects
- Project managing recurring people programmes such as the annual salary review, ensuring the right stakeholders are involved at the right time and everything runs to plan.
- Supporting change projects such as the implementation of a new benefits platform or other people system improvements.
Keeping workstreams moving, flagging risks early and making sure senior stakeholders have what they need to make decisions.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience
- Proven experience in people-focused project management, ideally within a professional services or PE-backed environment.
- A track record of supporting M&A activity from a people perspective – due diligence, integration, contract and policy alignment, and TUPE.
- Comfortable managing multiple workstreams at pace and keeping senior stakeholders well-informed.
- Experience of workplace or facilities management, or a demonstrated ability to pick up a new operational area quickly.
- Strong written communication skills – able to produce clear, well-structured outputs for a senior audience.
- Collaborative and organised, with the confidence to work across Finance, People and the wider business.
- Experience of HRIS implementation or benefits platform change projects.
- Familiarity with working alongside external legal advisors on employment and TUPE matters.
