The Role
Are you passionate about Corporate Tax and eager to dive into a dynamic role that offers growth and learning opportunities? Join us as a Business Tax Associate Manager/Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our clients' financial endeavours. Your responsibilities include:
- Preparation of complex Corporate Tax returns: You will be responsible for preparing and overseeing the preparation of complex Business Tax returns. This will require a strong understanding of tax legislation and regulations, as well as a thorough knowledge of the tax implications of business transactions.
- You will be expected to review the Business Tax returns prepared by junior team members to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax legislation and regulations.
- Assisting with business tax development: Writing articles, handling sales calls, working with the in-house marketing and sales teams.
- Involvement in tax advisory projects: Providing expert advice to clients on a range of tax matters.
- Providing in-house training on Tax matters: Ensuring that all members of the team are up-to-date with changes to tax legislation and regulations.
- Managing junior team members: Providing guidance and support as required to ensure their ongoing professional development.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:
Your foundation in Business Tax, within an Accountancy Practice, positions you for this impactful role. You:
- Are CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
- Have outstanding communication and influencing skills.
- Are comfortable working with multiple stakeholders at all levels.
- Have excellent project management skills and be able to ensure that multiple projects are successfully delivered.
- Are able to build excellent relationships with people, often resulting in engaged teams and additional client work.
- Value feedback and enjoy creating an environment where people are always learning and improving.

Our standard working week is a 37.5-hour week on a hybrid basis. Core working hours are 10am - 4pm Monday to Friday.
