This role will be responsible for driving and delivering new business from existing clients, prospects and introducers for both Bristol and Exeter teams and the wider region. It will be broad in nature, reporting into our national growth team, working closely with them to deliver revenue targets locally. This will include the full business development lifecycle from researching targets and prospects, outbound calling, creating campaign plans, helping create relevant client materials, identifying opportunities to work with referral partners, writing proposals and supporting partners develop their client portfolios.
This is an exciting role for a confident, independent and driven business development professional who thrives in a fast paced and entrepreneurial environment. This role provides the opportunity to work with partners across Bristol, Exeter and the South West to help create, execute and delivery their business plans.
Requirements and skills:- Proven business development skills, likely gained in an inside-sales environment
- Strong commercial acumen
- Confident, proactive style
- Support the Regional Managing Partner in delivering the revenue and growth targets in the South West
- Identify business development opportunities within the region – developing target lists of key clients and introducers and developing campaigns to reach them
- Drive revenue and growth by working with partners and directors on creating and winning proposals using Gravita templates and case studies
- Work with marketing to ensure campaigns, coverage and distribution of content, webinars and events of relevance to the region
- Proactively identify potential relationships who we can partner with where we share similar target audiences/client base
- Host and follow-up in-person networking events in the region, working with Partner and the Marketing team to maximise impact
- Brand champion: Support the team, office and local events and activity adhering to the Gravita values and following brand guidelines
- Data and reporting: Work with data team to keep our CRM updated with new prospects and introducer contact details – actively work closely with the team to add on a weekly basis
- Proven experience in a growth-focused business in a sales, partnerships or business development role
- Organised and structured approach to delivering revenue from the successful execution of targeted campaigns
- Able to work with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority and support them close business
- Excellent interpersonal skills across all methods of communication
- Ability to present to a variety of internal audiences from board members to the most junior of staff

Our standard working week is a 37.5-hour week on a hybrid basis (with up to 50% of your time across the month home based and the other 50% office based). Core working hours are 10am - 4pm Monday to Friday.
