We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the effective maintenance and improvement of our buildings and services. You will ensure our facilities are safe, compliant, well‑maintained, and provide an excellent environment for staff, clients, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
  • Oversee health & safety compliance, risk assessments, and statutory inspections.
  • Manage supplier contracts, negotiate service agreements, and monitor performance.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective service delivery.
  • Ensure environmental and sustainability standards are met.
  • Act as a key holder, responsible for opening and closing the facility and completing daily building and equipment checks.

About You

  • Proven experience in facilities management or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to liaise with contractors, staff, and senior management.
  • Previous experience as a Facilities Manager, Assistant Facilities Manager, or in a similar building operations role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing maintenance, contractors, and building services.
  • Strong track record of ensuring health & safety compliance and completing statutory checks.
  • Experience managing budgets, service contracts, and procurement.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

This position will involve evening and weekend work, including public holidays.
