Aligns and welds components of metal tools, wires, fixtures and other metal products.

Position Summary
The TIG Welder is responsible for the fabrication and assembly of stainless‑steel components used in Scepter Crossflow Filtration products.
This role ensures products are manufactured in accordance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and company quality requirements.
The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong commitment to safety, quality, precision, and continuous improvement within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and work instructions to maintain a safe work environment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with housekeeping standards.
- Perform TIG welding operations to produce products that meet quality and requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections using measuring instruments and gauges to verify compliance with product specifications.
- Accurately document production activities, inspections, and completed work.
- Track and report raw material usage associated with finished products.
- Identify, document, and communicate quality concerns to appropriate personnel, providing relevant information to support the disposition of nonconforming materials.
- Ensure all manufacturing and documentation activities comply with ISO 9001:2015 quality management standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Welding certification or a minimum of two (2) years of TIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Proficiency in the use of measuring instruments, including calipers, tape measures, and other inspection tools.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including fractions, decimals, and measurements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Effective communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Work Schedule
- Ability to work overtime as needed, including extended shifts, weekdays, weekends, and scheduled or unscheduled production demands.
