The Role
Depending on your experience and level of qualification, responsibilities will include:
- Servicing and repairing vehicles in accordance with manufacturer technical standards
- Diagnosing faults and identifying additional or non-routine repairs
- Completing Electronic Vehicle Health Checks
- Road testing vehicles for diagnosis and following repairs
- Working closely with Service Teams to communicate the progress of customer vehicles
- Maintaining a high level of technical competence through manufacturer training and support
- Providing technical advice and support to other members of the workshop team where appropriate
- Maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and customer service
About You
We're looking for experienced technicians who:
- Hold a relevant automotive qualification such as IMI or City & Guilds
- Have strong technical and diagnostic skills
- Are passionate about the automotive industry and developing their technical knowledge
- Take pride in delivering quality work with a first-time-fix mentality
- Work effectively as part of a busy workshop team
- Have strong communication skills
- Hold a full driving licence
For our Master Technician opportunities, a Level 3 IMI/City & Guilds qualification and relevant Master Technician experience are required. Experience with Renault and Dacia brands is desirable for our Kidwelly opportunity. Narberth is a Kia-only dealership.
