I'm looking to recruit a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester. Reporting to the Service Manager and working with a friendly workshop team, as a Vehicle Technician, your role will include accurately and skilfully undertaking the repairs and servicing of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely and complies with retailer, manufacturer, and industry guidelines & completed to the highest standards.
Where required, you will also discuss issues directly with customers concerning any long-term vehicle issues and ensure that all work is carried out in full and followed up until resolved.
To be eligible, you will need to be qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and ideally hold franchise-approved car dealership experience or be able to demonstrate a strong and comprehensive understanding of vehicle diagnostics/electronics. You will need to hold a UK driving licence, be a committed individual and be a good team player.
Overall, you must be able to produce a high quality of work in a busy environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team.
For your hard work as a Vehicle Technician, our client is offering:
- Starting salary up to £16.50 per hour pending experience and skill set.
- Overtime is paid at a half rate.
- 22 days annual leave plus the 8.
