As a Service & Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for attending reactive, corrective and planned preventative maintenance calls to provide vital support to our clients. Naturally, the smooth running of any building and its systems must be maintained around the clock – so you’ll also be included on our out-of-hours call rota which will require you to attend to calls outside of normal working hours. When on calls, you’ll need to document all tasks carried out and ensure that client and company standards are adhered to – so it’s crucial that you’re organised and have an eye for the small details.
When it comes to knowledge and experience, we’re looking for someone who knows the security world and its systems inside-out. Particularly someone with proven experience in a service delivery role and in the service and maintenance of large integrated security systems such as CCTV, intruder detection, intercom, and access control. Other requirements for this position include a good understanding of PC hardware and software systems, the ability to converse with both technical and non‑technically minded people to resolve issues and a careful approach when it comes to the quality of your own and other’s work.
