Gratte Brothers Design & Coordination (GBD&C) is currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Coordination Engineer to join its team in King’s Cross, London.
About the Role: This role presents an exciting opportunity to join a growing team within a well-established, family-owned business. You’ll benefit from CPD and training to develop your professional abilities. If successful, you’ll prioritise and delegate tasks, and provide all drawings, schedules, specifications, schematics etc. to ensure correct installation of works. In this role, you’ll manage the Project Team, producing building services drawings for engineering and site operative use. You’ll maintain overall quality control (budget, schedule, plans and personnel performance) and report regularly on this. As part of your duties, you’ll support the wider company departments, attend on-site meetings, conduct surveys, and assist the commercial team in recovering additional project costs. You’ll have a solid understanding of technical specifications and be able to appraise technical submittals and quotations. You’ll also have in-depth understanding of BIM, AutoDesk 3D (Fabrication and Revit), and Navisworks. We’re looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support the management of the team, plus the ability to work with design information to produce fully coordinated drawings.
