About the Role
Gratte Brothers Group currently has an exciting job opportunity for a Plant Delivery Driver’s Mate to join the team based in Stevenage.
The role will work to support the delivery driver to collect and deliver equipment as needed by our Group Companies. You will load and check items onto the van in accordance with delivery notes, ensuring the load is complete, safe and secure for the journey. You will cover when the driver is on annual leave or off sick, checking the vehicle daily and reporting any defects to your line manager. For this reason, the successful candidate will need a full driving license. The role will also assist in the warehouse when no deliveries are scheduled. While in the warehouse, you’ll be working under instruction from the Warehouse Supervisor.
We are looking for someone who is confident and professional, with a proactive attitude towards work and the ability to multitask.
