Gratte Brothers Limited (GBL) currently has a job opportunity for an Intermediate Mechanical Estimator to join the team.

About The Role

The Intermediate Mechanical Estimator supports the Senior Mechanical Estimators in the preparation and presentation of commercially viable mechanical services estimates. You will ensure efficient management of tender/cost plan inquiries, adhering to company procedures. In addition, you will review and analyse tender documentation, collaborate with Senior Mechanical Estimators on contract terms, and engage with Design and Operations teams for compliancy. Supporting the tendering process, the successful candidate will conduct thorough analysis of quotations, and advise on potential value engineering opportunities. As part of the role, you will attend site surveys, client meetings, and provide essential input for tender submission documents, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of project scope. Additional duties include supporting Company Directors’ instructions.

Candidates will need to be confident communicators, comfortable working as part of a team, and have an eye for detail. As part of the role, you will need to collaborate with other departments, so a personable approach and strong organisational skills are a must.
