Trainee Production Operative Tonbridge, Kent | Full-Time | Permanent | 37.5 hours per week Are you practical, reliable and good with detail?
Looking for a hands-on role where you can learn specialist manufacturing skills with full training provided?
Graticules Optics is looking for a Trainee Production Operative to join our Electroforming Department in Tonbridge.
The role You’ll be trained in the specialist processes used to manufacture our precision electroformed components.
This is detailed, hands-on work involving micro-patterns, chemical processes and periods of standing.
You’ll also learn how to inspect and test your work to make sure it meets our quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn processes including mandrel preparation, grid cleaning, electroforming and resist dipping
- Manufacture and handle precision components
- Carry out quality checks and testing
- Follow work procedures and Health & Safety guidance

- Experience with fine-detail or microscope work would be useful, but isn’t essential.
