Overview
Industrial Doors Engineer • £19.00 - £22.00 per hour + Overtime & Bonuses
North West or West Yorkshire – Field-based (covering the North of England) • Full-time, Permanent
Responsibilities
- Install, service and maintain industrial doors and roller shutters across commercial sites
- Carry out fault-finding, repairs and upgrades to a high standard
- Work to planned schedules as well as reactive call-outs
- Participate in the on-call rota (1 week in 12, with call-out payments and overtime)
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and industry regulations
- Provide excellent customer service on site, liaising confidently with clients and colleagues
Person Specification
- Proven experience in industrial doors and roller shutters installation and maintenance (essential)
- DHF qualification (desirable)
- ADSA or other relevant certifications (advantageous)
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Flexible to participate in overtime and on-call rota
- Full UK driving licence
