Are you an experienced CPVC Installation Engineer with a diligent, attentive and customer-focused approach looking for your next opportunity in the fire suppression industry? Our client, a fast-growing organisation based in Manchester, is currently looking to grow their team with an experienced fire sprinkler engineer to cover the North-West and Yorkshire regions.
Job Description
- With the support of a Junior Installation Engineer, you will be traveling to a variety of construction sites where your key duties will include:
- Leading the installation of sprinkler systems, including pipes, fittings and components
- Understanding and interpreting designs and drawings
- Liaising with clients, representatives and subcontractors in a polite, respectful manner
- Maintaining close communication with Project Managers and providing updates/feedback
- Completing inspections and testing, troubleshooting and repair of sprinkler systems
- Supervising and training of junior and trainee installation engineers onsite
- Producing accurate records of installations and inspections using company software
- Managing stock levels and ordering materials
- Following health and safety protocols and adhering to BS9251:2021 sprinkler standards
