Training Specialist (eDV)

The Project Training Specialist will analyse, design, deliver, and evaluate the SM training suite across the user base of over 4000 staff. The initial contract is for a 12 month period.

The role requires a consultant to:

• Conduct Needs Analysis: Consult with objective managers and stakeholders to identify critical training gaps caused by new processes or software.
• Design Curriculum: Build comprehensive training frameworks, lesson plans, user guides, and digital learning assets tailored to diverse business audiences.
• Organise sessions/materials: Based on requirements, establish when/how/where/what and coordinate with stakeholders and resources to manage.
• Deliver Training: Facilitate engaging instructor-led workshops, webinars, and hands-on system simulations across multiple business functions.
• Support System Rollouts: Provide dedicated, high-touch training support during critical go-live windows to accelerate user adoption.
• Evaluate Effectiveness: Measure training success using post-course assessments and feedback surveys to refine materials continuously.
• Maintain Documentation: Update user manuals, knowledge base articles, and video libraries as project scopes and features evolve.
• Administer LMS: Upload, track, and report on project-specific training completion metrics within the Learning Management System.

Person Specification (Requirements)

Suitable candidates will have a recognised Training Management/Delivery qualification and previous experience of large scale training programs. The role will be based on end client site in London, with occasional travel to Gloucestershire. Suitable candidates must hold the highest level of security clearance.
