Our client, a specialist scientific consultancy, is looking for a Senior Analyst to join their team due to their continued expansion. This will be a hands-on role within the labs, using mass spectrometry techniques to perform specialist analysis work as directed by their customers.
Responsibilities:
- Using mass spectrometry techniques to perform specialist analysis work as directed by customers.
- Perform extractables and leachables based testing to fulfill customer requirements.
- Work in a regulated / structured lab environment.
Qualifications:
- Strong scientific academic background (degree or A-level) with 2 years+ in a similar lab-based role.
- Higher-level academic background (Masters with 18 months lab experience or fresh PhD in a relevant analytical field).
- Understanding of chromatographic analysis techniques: GC/MS and/or LC/MS (key to the role).
- Experience with FTIR, TGA, UV-VIS or GPC also useful.
- Experience working in a regulated / structured lab environment: GMP, GLP, ISO17025.
