Nurse Paginator / Analyst required to join my clients growing team, and apply their clinical experience to assist victims of clinical negligence across a variety of different case types. The successful candidate will play a key role in the evaluation of cases, the preparation of chronologies, and assessment of case merits.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assessing the viability of potential clinical negligence cases
- Reviewing and analysing sets of medical records
- Categorising and paginating bundles of medical records
- Preparing chronologies
- Undertaking research and considering the relevant professional guidelines to form opinions on case merits following review of medical records, as well as highlighting key issues such as breach of duty and causation
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Clinical experience, preferably 2 years post-qualification experience as a registered nurse
- Demonstrate sound medical knowledge and a clear understanding of medical records
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy
- It is preferred but not essential to have previous pagination experience
- Experience of using Microsoft Office
