Salary: 19-21 per hour + overtime (1.5x standard / 2x lates + weekends)
Location: North West + West Yorkshire (ideally based along the M62 corridor)

Are you an experienced Industrial Doors or Roller Shutter Engineer looking for a well-supported role covering the North West and West Yorkshire, with strong overtime rates and long-term stability?
Our client is a well-established, nationwide engineering services provider specialising in industrial doors, roller shutters, automatic doors and access systems. They work with a broad range of high-profile and critical infrastructure clients, delivering installation, service, maintenance and reactive support across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to strengthen their engineering team with an additional field-based engineer.
This role will suit an engineer with strong experience in industrial doors and roller shutters, ideally with some exposure to automatic doors. You will be responsible for attending customer sites across the North West and West Yorkshire, carrying out planned and reactive works, fault-finding, repairs and installations, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and customer service.
Job Description- Installation, servicing, repair and maintenance of industrial doors and roller shutters
- Attending reactive breakdowns and planned maintenance visits
- Electrical and mechanical fault-finding on a range of door and shutter systems
- Completing job reports and documentation accurately
- Liaising professionally with customers on site
- Participating in a 1-in-12 on-call rota
- Working in line with health and safety and industry standards
- Proven experience working with industrial doors and/or roller shutters
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Good communication skills and a professional approach with customers
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience working with automatic doors
- DHF qualification
- ADSA qualification
- Background working on reactive and planned maintenance contracts
- 19-21 per hour, depending on experience
- Overtime paid at 1.5x, with lates/weekends at 2x
- On-call allowance of 250 per week (1 in 12 rota) plus call-out hours paid
