The Opportunity
We’re hiring for a Trust & Estate Tax Manager/Senior Manager firm wide in our NY, NJ, MA and FL offices. Responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:
- Research, comply, plan and administrate fiduciary income tax returns, estate & gift tax returns.
- Direct tax seniors and staff accountants; ensure that assignments are accomplished within the budgeted time.
- Interact with clients to discuss issues regarding tax information throughout the year.
- Develop technical knowledge through participation in organization meetings, training programs, attending industry events and participation in research activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive tax preparation, review and supervisory experience; previous experience in public accounting preferred.
- Ability to manage staff on multiple engagements.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- CPA or EA license required.
- Ability to work in a team environment, supervise staff and lead projects.
- Proficient with computer software packages and platforms including Microsoft Office Suite, Tax software, ProSystems Engagement and CCH Axcess.
- Ability to work additional hours as needed.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
