About the school
The school provides education for children and young people aged 6β16 years with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to support pupils both individually and in small groups. You will play a key role in helping students to:
- Access learning and engage fully with the curriculum
- Develop confidence and independence
- Build positive relationships
- Strengthen communication and social skills
- Achieve their full potential within a supportive environment
Who we are looking for
- Has experience working within an SEN, SEND or SEMH setting
- Has experience supporting children or young people with additional needs, particularly autism
- Can build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
- Demonstrates a patient, calm and caring approach
- Possesses strong communication and teamwork skills
