We are dedicated to fostering strong relationships and providing comprehensive support to ambitious business owners. With a focus on proactive advice, we go beyond compliance to help clients make smarter decisions. Our team is committed to empowering businesses and driving their success.

The opportunity involves producing accurate, review-ready company accounts, company and personal tax returns, engaging with ad-hoc client queries, and gaining early exposure to advisory work. If you enjoy the pace and variety of a start-up and want to help shape how we work as we grow, you’ll fit right in.

What you will do:

  • Take trial balances through to FRS 105/FRS 102 statutory accounts, including notes and tagged accounts.
  • Prepare corporation tax returns with supporting computations.
  • Prepare self-assessment returns and related schedules.
  • Keep workflows up to date (statuses, due dates, file notes); maintain tidy working papers and reconciliations.
  • Handle client information requests and straightforward technical queries.
  • Have an involvement in recurring & ad-hoc advisory assignments and sit in on client check-ins to learn the advisory craft.
  • Suggest improvements to templates, processes and check-lists whenever you spot opportunities.

We want to see and support your development as a professional.

About you:

  • Practice experience essential (typically 2–5+ years producing statutory accounts and corporation tax).
  • Comfortable with FRS 105/102 accounts and tax computations i.e. you know what “review-ready” looks like.
  • Clear, professional communicator who wants to understand clients and build relationships with colleagues.
  • Naturally tidy: you document assumptions, reconcile properly and leave files easy to review.
  • You enjoy start-up energy: proactive, resourceful and keen to shape better ways of working.
  • Aligned to our values: passionate, honest, caring, innovative and dynamic and you like turning data into clarity for our clients.
  • Qualifications: flexible: QBE, part-qualified or qualified (ACCA/ACA). Capability, attitude and reliability matter most.

What you will get from Grasp:

  • Flexible hours (part-time or full-time) and autonomy.
  • Early advisory exposure and direct access to clients.
  • Modern tooling/software, minimal admin friction and time to do great work.
  • Competitive salary (pro-rated), pension, paid CPD, plus your birthday day off.
