We're looking for an experienced wholesale or distribution professional to work with us on a short paid engagement (estimated 5–10 hours over 1–3 weeks).

What we need:

  • Someone with hands-on experience in the internal operations of a UK wholesaler or distributor — specifically around procurement, sales order processing, supplier management, or finance/AP.
  • You've worked inside the business, not sold to it.

What you'll do:

  • Walk us through how procurement and sales processes actually work in practice.
  • Identify the gaps between what should happen and what does happen.
  • Help us pressure-test our assumptions about where value leaks and where time gets wasted.
  • Give us honest, detailed feedback on what we're building.

You're a good fit if:

  • You've worked in a UK wholesaler or distributor doing £20M–£500M in revenue.
  • You've dealt with supplier invoices, delivery discrepancies, credit notes, manual order entry, or pricing management as part of your job.
  • You know the difference between how the ERP says it works and how it actually works.
  • Ideally you've worked with mid-market systems like Sage, SAP Business One, NetSuite, or Dynamics.

You don't need to:

  • Know anything about AI.
  • Be currently employed in the sector (recently left is fine).
  • Commit to anything beyond the engagement.

Compensation: Paid at a competitive day rate. Details on enquiry.
