We're looking for an experienced wholesale or distribution professional to work with us on a short paid engagement (estimated 5–10 hours over 1–3 weeks).
What we need: Someone with hands-on experience in the internal operations of a UK wholesaler or distributor — specifically around procurement, sales order processing, supplier management, or finance/AP. You've worked inside the business, not sold to it.
What you'll do: Walk us through how procurement and sales processes actually work in practice. Where the gaps are between what should happen and what does happen. Help us pressure-test our assumptions about where value leaks and where time gets wasted. Give us honest, detailed feedback on what we're building.
You're a good fit if: You've worked in a UK wholesaler or distributor doing £20M–£500M in revenue. You've dealt with supplier invoices, delivery discrepancies, credit notes, manual order entry, or pricing management as part of your job. You know the difference between how the ERP says it works and how it actually works. Ideally you've worked with mid-market systems like Sage, SAP Business One, NetSuite, or Dynamics.
You don't need to: Know anything about AI. Be currently employed in the sector (recently left is fine). Commit to anything beyond the engagement.
