You and your role

As a Senior Front-End Developer, you will be a trusted and empowered technical leader within DWP Digital. You will also support the release, maintenance, and deployment of products and code packages used widely across DWP.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure front-end solutions integrate effectively with back-end services and meet high standards for performance, accessibility, browser compatibility, and user experience. Using modern tooling and development techniques, you will champion test-driven development and iterative delivery.

You will be hands-on, but we also need your leadership skills. You will coach and mentor colleagues, help grow capability across teams, and contribute to engineering and user-centred design communities. You will act as an enabler for multiple teams, resolving technical blockers, promoting collaboration, and helping teams deliver at pace without compromising quality.
