We are hiring skilled Digital Project Managers to join our community of tech experts in DWP Digital.

You are your role

With your experience leading infrastructure, workplace technology projects, user-centred design or agile digital transformation, you\’ll support some of the largest digital transformations in Europe.

You will join a thriving, supportive community, delivering large scale programmes on time and within budget. You\’ll take ownership of end-to-end delivery, ensuring governance is followed and reporting to Senior Project Managers.

You\’ll manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, ensuring consistent and clear communication across a varied audience.

You\’ll handle conflicts as they arise and help create a positive team environment fostering collaboration and shared responsibility.

You will take charge of your own learning and development, staying up to date with the latest principles, methods, and tools, supporting and mentoring Associates, helping to refine ways of working where needed.

Technical Statement

  • Can demonstrate effective project controls to demonstrate the health of the projects they are responsible for and react accordingly to the information gathered.
  • Experience of building and managing effective stakeholder relationships to shape the outcomes of a project, considering different individual needs, views, and ideas.
  • Experience of building team dynamics and identifying ways to improve the way the team is working.
  • Communicate in a straightforward, honest, and engaging manner, choosing appropriate styles and tools to maximise and check understanding and impact.

Location: You\’ll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or Sheffield, whichever is most convenient for you.

Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model – you\’ll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.

Pay: We offer competitive pay of up to £45,081.

Pension: You\’ll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%, worth up to £X per year.

Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 26 days rising to 31 days over time.

You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time. You\’ll also get all the usual public holidays.
