Skills, knowledge, and experience required: Experience developing applications using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse. Managing and integrating data across Power Platform datasources like Dataverse and SharePoint Lists. Experience working in Agile/Rapid application development teams, contributing throughout the full delivery lifecycle. Proficiency with collaborative tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA. Ability to recommend and assess tooling standards for application engineering. Experience collaborating with stakeholders to enhance application usability and performance. Proven leadership and coaching skills to support team members in achieving goals. Your role: You will work as a Power Platform developer within an Agile team, collaborating with a Senior Application Engineer, digital experts, and other team members, including delivery managers, BAs, DevOps, architects, and testers. Your daily tasks include supporting PowerApps and Power Automate applications, converting legacy systems into low-code apps, and developing new applications from scratch. You will liaise with stakeholders within DWP Digital and potentially have line management responsibilities for Application Engineer Apprentices. Details, wages, and perks: Location: Based in Blackpool, Manchester, or Newcastle-upon-Tyne, with hybrid working arrangements. Pay: Up to £45,081. Pension: Civil service pension with 28.97% employer contributions, valued up to £12,345 annually. Holidays: 25 days initially, rising to 31, plus up to 3 extra days per month on flexi-time, plus public holidays.
