PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE IS PART -TIME 2 DAYS A WEEK JOB PURPOSE To provide a professional and effective administration support to the HR Advisor, working on small HR admin projects, improving documentation, administrations process and providing information to Managers and Employees. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Administration of company policies and procedures

  • Assisting supervisors and managers in the professional investigation and action with regard to violations of company policy and procedures

  • Assisting in all aspects of recruitment

  • Booking of Interview Rooms

  • Contacting candidates by telephone to arrange interview times

  • Co-ordination of candidates coming for interview (meeting & greeting)

  • Updating of recruitment spreadsheets

  • General administration support to Recruitment Specialist

  • Performing all new employee inductions

  • Starter packs

  • HR Inductions

  • 6 week employee reviews

  • Providing support to ensure compliance with HR legal requirements and best practice

  • Creating training programmes

  • Advising and monitoring holiday and absence management

  • Carry out general administration duties i.e letters, reports, filing

  • Ensure HR databases are accurate and up to date

  • Diary management of Occupational Health appointments and sickness absence information

  • Assisting the HR Manager on Training and development programmes

  • HR research - Salary surveys, New legislation, Employee Engagement

  • Admin process for leavers

  • Speaking to employees assisting with HR queries

  • Organising employment references


SKILLS/QUALS



  • Minimum 2 years experience working in an HR department, desirable but not essential, ideally within manufacturing

  • Ideally qualified or looking to study CIPD or equivalent qualification

  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint skills at intermediate or above

  • Familiar with personnel databases

  • A high level of confidentiality

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • The flexibility and willingness to learn
