We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations across our North East manufacturing sites. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring our production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and at maximum performance while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the business
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage maintenance activities across production and facility operations.
- Drive machine reliability and reduce downtime through preventive and continuous improvement programs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, BRC, and ISO standards.
- Monitor and report maintenance KPIs and performance metrics.
- Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers.
- Support capital and operational improvement projects.
- Develop and coach maintenance team members to build technical capability and engagement.
- Manage facilities maintenance requirements to ensure efficient site operations.
- Promote a strong safety culture and maintain high housekeeping standards.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications & Experience
- HNC or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with responsibility for maintenance operations.
- Strong knowledge of planned and preventative maintenance (PPM) and TPM programs.
- Understanding of electrical regulations (17th or 18th Edition preferred).
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Full, clean driving license.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
- Printing, packaging, carton manufacturing, or FMCG environments.
- Experience with Heidelberg, Komori, Bobst, Jagenberg, or similar production equipment.
- Knowledge of high-speed manufacturing machinery and automation systems.
