JOB PURPOSE
To support and assist with the QHSE team with site adherence to company quality standards.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
• To assist the Quality Manager in organising, controlling, and maintaining the management systems.
• In the absence of the Quality Manager, deputise as required.
• Provide support and advice to staff to achieve compliance with internal and external quality management systems.
• Assist development of and maintain quality documentation to identify and respond to emerging legislation relevant to activities.
• Collate monthly quality KPI statistics.
• Carry out internal and external inspections and audits and assist close out of NCR’s.
• Assist development of and deliver quality system training and awareness initiatives.
PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
• Time keeping and punctuality.
• Adherence to company’s standards: BRC Packaging and Packaging Materials, ISO9001, PS9000, OHSAS18001, ISO14001, FSC and PEFC.
• Maintenance and upkeep of QHSE department files and records.
• Good housekeeping practices.
TECHNICAL SKILLS/QUALS
• Experience within a manufacturing environment (ideally print and / or packaging).
• Computer skills including the use of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Computer literate able to use Avante (training will be provided).
• Excellent Attention to detail.
• Experience with quality standards.
• Root cause analysis techniques. INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

• Excellent written and verbal skills.
