JOB PURPOSE
Working with the Sales organisation, provide and analyse clean, up to date and accurate sales data to enable internal tools to be used confidently to forecast and plan for budgets, LRP and operational planning in the short, medium and long range.
To be a point of contact for queries, updates and reports to service the business in actual sales analysis, forecasting, planning and preparation.
To be the segment owner in analysing customer SLA adherence, volume commitments, and revenue expectations driving action to improve.
KEY OBJECTIVES &
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cleanse, update and maintain the customer data warehouse for all existing customers and prospects, including but not limited to:
- Customer group
- Segment
- Responsible KAM
- Division
- Revenue category
- Regularly audit the data held to ensure relevance and accuracy, working across Sales Finance and Commercial departments
- Review understand and report the Actual monthly results by waterfall bucket impact (Price RM, inflation, Market, Share, NPD. Working with stakeholders across the business to constantly improve the accuracy of our reporting
- To include all required sales reporting on a weekly monthly and annual basis. through working with local information systems and the European Sales Dashboard
- Ensure S&OP alignment with the sales teams across Segment for forecasts, budget and LRP, to include revenue, carton volumes and pricing.
- Further support the sales organisation by being the focal point for coordination of reporting of Forecasts on a monthly basis, together with the LRP and budget numbers on an annual basis.
- Manage NPD monthly sales tracking to align NPD Leaders and Heads of Sales and to ensure all projects are included in our reporting.
- Assist with price tracking in a dynamic environment; remain proactive and reactive as required to ensure accuracy of data.
- Review SLA agreements and contracts and measure bid awards against reality to drive profitability. To focus on volume commitments from customers compared to actual requirements to ensure that we are achieving expected numbers
- Reporting on finished goods and board supply availability at a local level
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- 3+ years in a relevant financial, operations or commercial function
- Professional Excel skills
- Analytical skills
- Understanding of sales pipeline and its link to production planning and forecasting
