Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and applications
- Monitor and maintain local and regional networks, servers, and production systems
- Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues and escalate to third-party support if needed
- Provide technical support in person and remotely to users across EMEA
- Administer user accounts, email systems, and Active Directory, including DNS and DHCP
- Manage backups, ensure backup integrity, and perform off-site storage procedures
- Support deployment of new applications and upgrades across the business
- Document processes, maintain configuration records, and update system inventories
- Collaborate with the wider IT team and corporate staff, especially in the USA
- Participate in infrastructure projects, application testing, and evaluating new technologies
Requirements and skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar IT systems administration role
- Proficiency in Windows OS, Linux, and Mac OS X environments
- Strong understanding of network technologies including switching, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based infrastructure
- Familiarity with ITIL ticketing systems and service desk operations
- Skilled in managing file/print servers, application servers, and Office 365
- Experience with Active Directory, backup solutions, and production IT systems
- Working knowledge of diagnostic tools and system monitoring utilities
- Awareness of data protection and information security standards in all activities
