The predicted salary is between 31500 - 38500 £ per year.
Responsible for ensuring that both North East sites are maintained to the highest standards and in accordance with the ISO9001, PS9000 & BRCGS standards in terms of Quality and Hygiene. Assist with training and continuous improvement of Food Safety and Quality Culture in compliance with global standards.
To maintain and conduct Quality Assurance Inspections at all stages of production. Support and promote all production processes completed according to company established procedures. Facilitate internal quality projects, facilitate quality assurance across two locations. Support shift cover may be required. Primary shift pattern: Mon-Fri times to be agreed with QM.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate and support investigations for internal and external non-conformance with a RC and CAPA.
- Support audits/visits by auditors and customers.
- Contact customers/suppliers.
- Act as first point of contact from the production area regarding quality matters.
- Promoting and enforcing good quality practices and hygiene standards.
- Control Quality documentation required for the QMS.
- Be able to analyse production samples against approved standards when needed.
- Checking/sampling of finished goods pallets in the warehouse if needed.
- Support the site in containment of faulty material.
