Delivering a Production Plan to the business. Pro-actively pursue all issues that prevent effective and efficient Scheduling of Production with a customer 1st bias. Offer support and Training to Coordinator.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparing Daily/Forward plan to accommodate our customers' requirements within the production capabilities.
  • Analyse work orders for completeness of materials and resources based on customers' orders.
  • Lead daily production meetings, highlighting all upcoming issues and resolving where necessary.
  • Help training within the department.
  • Ensure a good working relationship with all departments.
  • Record and publish daily/weekly KPI, WIP and Backlog.
  • Report weekly/monthly KPI.
  • Liaising with managers to ensure that plans are correct to maximise efficiencies.
  • Produce reports for Plant Manager Stocks Values, etc.
  • Work occasional weekends, primarily during peak periods and Customer Launch cycles.
  • Build good working and communication relationships with other departments.

SKILLS/QUALS

  • Experience within a carton packaging manufacturing environment (preferred).
  • Good general level of education, preferably to Diploma/NVQIV level.
  • Experience with Purchasing and MRP preferred, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Some Planning experience preferred, but not essential.

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

  • Reliable and flexible with strong work ethic.
  • Able to effectively prioritise and adapt to variable workload.
  • Punctual, presentable and with good attendance.
  • Will be working in a very fast-paced environment so you must be experienced in dealing with pressure and be highly organised with an ability to multi-task and manage one's own time.
  • Pro-active and can-do attitude required.
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business priorities and assignments.
  • Great team player with excellent organisational skills who has an attention for detail.
