What you'll do

  • Lead and manage end-to-end network migration projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and timelines.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, resources, timelines, and budgets, and ensure adherence to these plans throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to assess existing network infrastructure and identify requirements for migration.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings with stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and gather feedback.
  • Monitor project progress and performance metrics, implementing corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track.
  • Manage risks associated with network migrations, proactively identifying potential issues and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices throughout the migration process.
  • Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to ensure seamless integration of new network components.
  • Prepare and present project documentation, including status reports, risk assessments, and post-migration evaluations to stakeholders.
  • Train and mentor junior project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the migration process, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Conduct post-migration reviews to assess project success and identify areas for improvement in future migrations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically within network migration or related IT projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
  • Strong understanding of network architecture, protocols, and technologies.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively, with a focus on delivering results.
  • Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.
