Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and personable Clinical Trials & Customer Engagement Lead to help bring our solution to market. In this role, you will be pivotal in managing and coordinating clinical usability trials, engaging directly with customers & ensuring compliance with medical device regulations. This role offers the opportunity to have real impact on the success of our startup; you will be given trust, ownership and the chance to make a lasting impact in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the setup and coordination of clinical usability trials, from participant engagement & recruitment to data analysis & reporting
  • Implement CRM systems to track communications, trial progress & participant data.
  • Oversee medical device compliance with standards & testing
  • Directly engage with a diverse customer base, including wheelchair users, healthcare providers, care homes, and distributors

Essential Skills:

  • 2+ years’ proven experience in clinical trials
  • Excellent customer engagement & relationship-building skills
  • Proficient in CRM (or CTMS) systems for clinical trial management
  • Technical background in clinical, medical research, or similar
  • Strong written & verbal communication
  • Personable & approachable

Desirable Skills:

  • Clinical trial planning experience
  • Proactive by nature with a track record of spotting opportunities & taking initiative
  • Experience working with wheelchair users, pressure care, or related fields
  • Solid understanding of quantitative evaluation & structured data collection
  • Project management
