Intermediate Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineer (Building Services) We are seeking a talented and motivated Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join our clients team and contribute to the successful delivery of a data centre project. No experience required in the Data Centre sector, however we are looking for someone with experience in the building services or engineering sectors. Key Responsibilities * Develop and manage detailed project schedules and resource plans. * Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and issues. * Implement effective risk mitigation strategies. * Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards. * Review and approve mechanical design drawings and specifications. * Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration. * Provide technical support to the construction team. * Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality. * Resolve technical issues and coordinate with subcontractors. * Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality control procedures. * Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities. * Prepare and submit accurate project reports and forecasts. * Communicate effectively and proactively with clients to address their needs and concerns. * Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders Qualifications and Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. * Proven experience in managing projects in the building services sector such as commercial fit-out projects, including Cat A and Cat B fit-outs. * Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection. * Excellent project management and organisational skills. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
