The Role

We're recruiting an experienced Electrical Supervisor for a data centre project in Milan. 6–8 weeks duration, on a rotational shift pattern, working two weeks on site before heading home for a long weekend.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day electrical installation works on site, ensuring works are delivered to programme and specification
  • Manage and direct electrical subcontractors and labour, allocating tasks and monitoring output/productivity
  • Carry out regular site walks and inspections to identify snags, quality issues, and installation defects before they escalate
  • Liaise with the Project Manager and other trade supervisors (mechanical, BMS, fire, etc.) to ensure coordinated, clash-free installation
  • Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications and method statements to ensure correct installation
  • Ensure all works comply with relevant electrical standards, health & safety regulations, and client procedures
  • Complete and maintain all relevant H&S and site paperwork — including RAMS, permits to work, isolation/permit-to-work procedures, toolbox talks, and daily site diaries
  • Monitor and enforce PPE compliance and safe working practices, including safe isolation procedures
  • Manage plant, tools, and materials on site, ensuring availability and minimising delays
  • Support testing, inspection and commissioning of electrical systems, and manage associated documentation
  • Support snagging and de-snagging processes, tracking outstanding items through to close-out
  • Attend site progress meetings and report on electrical progress, risks and issues
  • Ensure quality control checks are carried out and documented in line with client requirements
  • Support and mentor electrical operatives on site, promoting a strong safety and quality culture

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor, ideally on data centre.
  • Strong track record of seeing projects through, genuine commitment and reliability.
  • Confident and thorough with site walks, inspections and quality checks
  • Solid working knowledge of H&S requirements, safe isolation procedures, and site documentation/paperwork
  • Comfortable managing subcontractors and coordinating with other trades
  • Able to read and work from electrical drawings and specifications
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. CSCS/SSSTS/SMSTS, 18th Edition, First Aid) and right to work
  • Willing to work the 2-weeks-on rotational pattern and travel to Milan

Package

  • £400 per day
  • Flights, accommodation and expenses covered
