Job Summary

We are seeking a Test Technician to join our team. You will collaborate with hardware and software teams to test products and maintain test systems for preproduction testing. You will report to the Hardware Test team lead. We value proactive, collaborative team players who can take ownership and are interested in automating testing and developing graphical user interfaces. The Team

The Hardware Test team is part of a larger Hardware team, including SI, mechanical, layout, packaging, and hardware technicians. The team focuses on delivering advanced accelerators for machine learning and collaborates across various product development functions.

Responsibilities and Duties

The successful candidate will manually test preproduction designs and help automate testing. Responsibilities include testing high-speed serial links, power supplies, and debugging protocols like JTAG, I2C, and I3C. You will develop understanding of Graphcore hardware/software, contribute to GUI development, and improve test coverage. Automation in Python or LabView is also expected. Collaboration with internal teams and third-party support is essential.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience in developing test systems for complex electronics
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to solder, rework PCBs, and wire harnesses
  • Knowledge of LPDDR, PCIe, Ethernet, and switch mode power supplies
  • Familiarity with Linux, PCBA testing methods like ICT and SLT
  • Proficiency in Python or LabView
