Shape the power delivery architecture behind next‑generation AI compute systems. You will develop power integrity solutions across silicon, package, PCB and system designs. Your work will directly influence performance, reliability and scalability across advanced AI platforms. You will model and analyse complex power delivery networks, optimise decoupling strategies and solve integrity challenges before systems reach production. You will work closely with chip, package and board teams to turn simulation insight into design improvements. This role offers rare end‑to‑end ownership across the hardware stack. You will help define how high‑current, high‑performance AI systems are designed, validated and brought to life.
The Signal and Power Integrity team works at the centre of Graphcore’s hardware development. The team partners closely with silicon, package, board and systems engineers to solve complex electrical challenges early. Work moves quickly and decisions are driven by data, simulation and measurable outcomes. Engineers are trusted to challenge assumptions, improve methodologies and raise technical standards across programmes. You will join a team that values deep technical thinking, practical problem‑solving and shared ownership. People contribute directly, speak openly and support each other through complex design cycles.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong understanding of power integrity principles and PDN design
- Experience using PI simulation tools such as HFSS, SiWave, ADS, Spice or similar
- Ability to analyse simulation results and drive practical design improvements
- Experience across chip, package or PCB‑level hardware design
- Knowledge of electromagnetic simulation techniques and lab measurement equipment
- Clear communication skills and confidence working across engineering disciplines
