Job Summary
We’re looking for a Hardware Project Manager to drive the delivery of complex electronics hardware across multidisciplinary engineering teams. This role works closely with engineers to plan, track, and deliver hardware through design, build, bring-up, and test—keeping work predictable, visible, and on track.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Plan and track delivery of electronics hardware from early concept through schematic, PCB layout, prototype build, bring-up, and test
- Break down complex hardware work into clear, deliverable tasks with engineering leads
- Coordinate across electronics design, PCB layout, signal & power integrity, mechanical, and test teams
- Facilitate technical planning sessions, design reviews, and delivery checkpoints
- Identify technical, schedule, and resource risks early and drive mitigation
- Maintain clear visibility of dependencies and critical path items
- Provide concise, accurate status updates to programme and business stakeholders
- Introduce lightweight planning and tracking practices that suit hardware development
- Support teams using tools like Jira while adapting delivery approaches (milestone-driven, Agile, Kanban, time-boxed iterations)
Candidate Profile
Essential
- Proven experience delivering electronics hardware in an engineering environment
- Hands-on experience working with electronics design, PCB development, mechanical, or hardware test teams
- Strong understanding of hardware development lifecycles, including build and test phases
- Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering teams
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery practices and planning tools
- Comfortable working close to engineers and technical leads
- Able to translate detailed engineering activity into clear delivery plans and meaningful status reporting
