Build the design libraries behind the hardware powering next-generation AI systems. As a PCB CAD Librarian, you will manage the engineering data that enables Graphcore teams to design complex AI hardware with confidence. Your work will support the accuracy, consistency and scalability of development across multiple hardware programmes. You will maintain CAD libraries, control design data releases and improve engineering workflows used across the business. You will work closely with PCB designers, schematic engineers and manufacturing operations teams to solve problems and strengthen development processes. This role offers broad visibility across hardware engineering and manufacturing. You will help shape the foundations that allow teams to move quickly while maintaining high engineering standards.
The Hardware PCB Design team supports the tools, workflows and engineering environments used across Graphcore’s hardware organisation. The team works closely with schematic design and signal integrity engineers to keep development efficient and reliable. Work is collaborative, practical and detail-focused. Engineers are trusted to improve processes, raise issues early and contribute ideas that make systems work better. You will join a team that values ownership, clear communication and continuous improvement. People support each other to solve problems well and deliver high-quality outcomes.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working with CAD libraries, engineering data or related design systems
- Understanding of version control, configuration management and data integrity principles
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail when managing technical information
- Ability to collaborate effectively with hardware engineering and manufacturing teams
- Clear communication skills with confidence supporting engineering workflows
- Familiarity with Siemens Xpedition or similar EDA and library management tools
