As we enter the next phase of growth, we are looking for an experienced Head of Accounting Operations to lead our global accounting operations function and help ensure our finance organisation scales effectively alongside the business.

As a Lead Business Analyst, you'll lead discovery and design activities across complex transformation programmes. You'll help business teams improve processes, systems, data flows and operating models. Your work will shape how the organisation operates and supports future growth. The outcomes will help teams work more effectively, make better decisions and deliver lasting improvements. You’ll lead discovery, document current-state processes, define requirements and design future ways of working. You’ll analyse systems, processes and data to evaluate options, support solution design and help ensure successful delivery. This role offers broad visibility across Graphcore and the opportunity to influence change from early concept through to measurable business outcomes.

The team and culture

The Data & Transformation team delivers cross-functional change that improves how Graphcore operates and scales. We work closely with business teams across the organisation to understand challenges, identify opportunities and deliver sustainable improvements. Day to day, you’ll lead discovery activities, create process maps, document requirements and maintain traceability from business need to delivered outcome. You’ll combine workshop facilitation with hands-on analysis of systems, processes and data to identify practical solutions and design improved ways of working. We value people who can build credibility quickly, facilitate productive discussions and challenge assumptions constructively. Success comes from bringing structure to complex problems, balancing stakeholder engagement with rigorous analysis and delivering change that lasts.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience leading business analysis activities on complex transformation, process improvement or systems change initiatives
  • Strong capability in discovery, process mapping, requirements definition and future-state process design
  • Ability to analyse business processes, systems and data to identify opportunities and evaluate solution options
  • Ability to build credibility with stakeholders, facilitate discussions that drive decisions and bring structure to ambiguous problems
  • Strong documentation skills, including business requirements, user stories, process maps and acceptance criteria
  • Experience supporting testing, implementation and business readiness to help ensure successful adoption and outcomes
