What you'll do
- Lead the bring-up and verification process for new hardware platforms.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to PCBs, power delivery, signal integrity, and system interfaces.
- Validate LPDDR5-9600 memory interfaces, including initialization, training, margin analysis, and stability testing.
- Perform signal integrity analysis using eye diagrams and DDR timing margin assessments.
- Determine root causes for hardware and firmware failures and coordinate solutions across departments.
- Produce technical documentation, including test procedures, bring-up guides, and debug reports.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hardware debugging and low-level system integration.
- Expertise in LPDDR validation, tuning, and compliance testing.
- Proficiency in signal integrity analysis and protocol-level troubleshooting.
- Ability to perform board bring-up and subsystem debugging with minimal supervision.
- Skilled in root-cause analysis and driving issue resolution across cross-functional teams.
- Experience using lab instrumentation such as high-bandwidth oscilloscopes, BERT systems, and VNA/TDR equipment.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with PCBA and system-level technologies.
- Experience validating Ethernet and PCIe interfaces.
- Knowledge of ATE systems and their operational capabilities.
- Proficiency in scripting or coding for automation and data analysis using Python, LabView, or BASH.
