In this leadership role, you'll be accountable for the end-to-end execution of broadcast rights, working with partners, production teams and stakeholders to ensure exceptional coverage across all FA competitions. From managing key relationships and budgets to driving operational excellence and regulatory compliance, you'll play a pivotal role in bringing the game to millions of fans. Given the dynamic nature of football and live broadcasting, this role requires flexibility to work outside standard business hours when needed.
What will you be doing?
- Lead and manage a team of Broadcast Managers to ensure the delivery of all contractual rights to each broadcast partner is to a world-class operational standard.
- Oversee the end-to-end output both domestically and internationally across all platforms, including live matches (linear and digital), highlights, and shoulder and magazine programming.
- Supervise the broadcast selection process for all televised and streamed matches, working closely with Football Operations, host broadcasters, clubs, and production partners, and acting as the primary escalation point.
- Manage key relationships with the broadcasters and production partners, including oversight of any future tender processes.
- Oversee and control production budgets to ensure effective financial management and delivery.
- Ensure all broadcast regulations are accurate, compliant, and up to date across all competitions, working closely with Licensing and Compliance teams on the annual regulatory review in line with contractual and operational requirements.
- Lead the recruitment, development, and training of Match Managers to ensure consistently high delivery standards.
- Oversee the delivery and implementation of virtual advertising across all properties, ensuring full contractual compliance and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with internal departments to drive continuous improvement in ways of working, optimising existing infrastructure and operational processes.
- Execute additional tasks as required to meet the FA's changing priorities.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure that the highest standards of health, safety, and well-being can be maintained.

Essential For The Role
- Previous experience within a sports governing body/team, rights holder, broadcaster, agency or media organisation.
- Evidence of managing senior stakeholders and the ability to build relationships and manage conflict effectively.
- Experienced in budget management.
- Excellent communication, organisational & project management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Beneficial To Have
- Significant experience in production operations and broadcasting, media distribution or a related commercial sector.
- Good understanding of the broadcasting industry covering: media rights, scheduling, production, tender processes and operational delivery.
- Experience managing and developing team members.
