Your role

  • As a

, you will play a pivotal role in creating compelling content by producing on-air gold with diligent show preparation alongside the wider team, ensuring smooth operation of the station’s output.

  • Day To Day You Will
  • Operate studio equipment during live broadcasts to ensure high-quality sound
  • Lead in the preparation and execution of radio shows throughout the week, including guest coordination, scriptwriting, and managing talent
  • Collaborate with presenters and other team members to develop engaging content
  • Support presenters in real time to keep show pacing and energy on mark
  • Monitor news, entertainment and sport developments to incorporate timely and relevant content into shows
  • Coordinate with technical staff to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during broadcasts and ensure seamless on-air operations
  • Contribute creative ideas and innovative approaches to enhance the overall quality of our programming.

  • A music LOVER, who enjoys 90s, 00s and “bangers” but also has their own unique tastes
  • An avid gig-goer, festival fanatic and obsessive crate digger
  • Outgoing people-person energy, with a 360 can-do attitude
  • Someone with their finger on the pulse with evolving trends on social media and pop culture
  • An ability to multi-task in a live broadcasting environment
  • Drive and enthusiasm to work within small and friendly teams
  • Technical skills and confidence in and outside of the studio
  • Experience of broadcasting software including Zetta, G-Selector and Burli preferred but not required
  • Experience of editing in Adobe Audition preferred but not required
  • Strong editorial judgment with the confidence to pitch creative show ideas.
