The predicted salary is between 24000 - 30000 £ per year.

Facilitate the day to day management of the practice operations. Coordination and management of daily tasks for staff members; practices excellent customer service and schedules patients according to established office procedures. Answers telephone by the third ring as needed. Obtains pertinent patient information for check in and check out process. Maintains patient information in Misys/Meditech system. Greet patients and visitors; determines their needs and directs them accordingly. Acts as a patient liaison as needed to direct flow for the centre and assists patients with documentation as needed. Reviews all information sheets and forms for consistency. Maintains a neat and orderly front desk area ensuring all supplies are stocked and maintained daily. Maintains referral records and facilitates referrals to and from the practice. Other duties as assigned by Director.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school graduate with a combination of at least one year of experience in customer service, preferably in a medical office setting.
  • Typing and computer skills: ability to operate any office equipment.
  • Knowledge of multi-line telephone system.
  • Knowledge of cashiering.
  • Ability to follow medical staff instructions.
  • Ability to stay calm in emergencies.
  • Good communication, written and organisational skills.
  • Ability to deal with multiple tasks at a time and prioritise accordingly.
  • Able to adapt and incorporate new tasks presented.
  • Able to contribute new ideas and solutions to problems.
  • Ability to deal with the public in a professional manner and maintain good relationships with the Centre's personnel and staff physicians.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
